I take the risk of contracting COVID-19 very seriously. Any measures I can take to ensure the safety of my students and myself have been done, as I deem it my responsibility as a citizen to terminate the spread of the Coronavirus as much as possible. This disease is dangerous and unknown, and we, as a community, need to help bring the spread to a halt.
Wear A Mask.
Every student who enters my at-home studio must wear a mask. I have disposable masks provided outside the door if you don't own one or forget yours. I will always be wearing a mask during lessons.
Wash Your Hands.
I have hand sanitizer placed outside the studio door, along with another bottle inside the room. I ask that everyone cleans their hands before opening the door to reduce cross contamination. I make sure to keep my hands clean as well.
Stay Six Feet Apart.
My studio is located in my screened in porch. I have measured the room to make sure my desk and the student desk are more than six feet apart. I also purchased a plastic screen that sits on the edge of my table. This allows me to safely face the students and talk to them without worrying about spreading COVID-19 through the air. You can see a photo of our work space at the bottom of the page.
BYOB (Bring Your Own Brushes)
Due to COVID-19, I ask that you bring your own brushes to class. I will also be handling all the paints during our lessons to limit cross contamination.
