Jacquie Howarth was born in Whitehaven, England. At the age of seven, Jacquie moved to North Carolina. She eventually returned to the UK as a young adult and rediscovered her roots. After returning to America and raising her family, Jacquie went back to school to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming an artist. From a young age, art became a passion. Drawn to color and texture, Jacquie found painting to be a wonderful way to express her love of the natural world. Whether it was a babbling brook in the Lake District or a tumbling stream in the Appalachian mountains, Jacquie was drawn to the beautiful designs and forms created by the natural elements. Her work is a celebration of this interaction and the beauty it brings to our world.
