My name is Jacquie Howarth, and I am a freelance painter in Apex, North Carolina. I used to be one of two painters at Studio 123 in Downtown Apex before COVID-19 hit our state. I now teach from home, as I am lucky enough to have space to safely host classes.
I went back to school and received my Associates Degree in Fine Arts a few years ago once I realized I wanted to dive head first into painting and teaching as a profession.
In my paintings, I allow color to be the main focus. My art is abstract, and I love to express my visions through bold contrasts and organic shapes. I am heavily influenced by the natural shapes and patterns created by nature.
